With a high technology career spanning 25 years, Liam Randall has worked at every level of the information systems pipeline - from building and operating large networks, and developing and maintaining large 100M+ ARR e-commerce solutions, to designing and implementing global network security monitoring sensor grids. Randall is a well-recognized speaker and thought leader on WebAssembly, and serves as co-chair Kubecon NA Wasm Day, co-chair Kubecon EU Wasm Day, and Kubecon EU WebAssembly keynote. A serial entrepreneur with Open Source Core & Security, Randall was the founder of the first Kubernetes company – Critical Stack (acquired by Capital One Bank in 2016) - with the goal of automating security and compliance for secure container orchestration. Randall is currently investing in and accelerating the growth of new open source core cloud native startups such as Cosmonic (CNCF wasmCloud) and Stacklet (CNCF Cloud Custodian).
